
Egg-cellent Easter Events for Kids
There are many free kid friendly events happening at the Perth Cultural Centre. Bring the kids down to the James Street Amphitheatre for the Easter Eggstravaganza on March 23 and 24, and April 1. Follow footprints and use clues to discover Bilby Land.
This Easter Saturday Hop into the City: Easter Edition is happening! From storytime sessions at the Perth Culture Centre, to plenty of egg-citement at Yagan Square with roving flowers, an Easter egg hunt, and selfies with the Easter Bunny. Plus, children can claim a free chocolate bilby treat for participating in the festivities.
Free Holiday Fun in the City
Elizabeth Quay will be transformed into a magical, colourful wonderland, from April 5 to 25, with the Ephemeral Oceanic at The Quay event. The mesmerising immersive art experience features 150 huge illuminated ‘bubbles’ in the water, on land and even in the air!
Have you visited the City of Perth Library? Their free, daily school holiday craft activities, for kids aged 2 to 12 years old, are a great reason the check out this inspiring space.
Embark on a Galactic Space Adventure at Perth Cultural Centre! This immersive experience, from April 9 to 12, will ignite the imagination of little space enthusiasts (best for ages 6 to 12 years old). Help a stranded astronaut to fix their rocket ship with games, plus meet a friendly alien.
The vibrant Youth Week WA KickstART Festival will be held from 5 to 12 April. A theme of ‘Head, Body, Heart’ has over 25 engaging events tailored for teens and young adults aged 12 to 26 years old. The free event line-up includes art exhibitions, workshops, live performances and mentorships.
Marvellous Markets in Perth
There’s an egg-stra special Easter edition of the popular twilight Markets @ The Quay! The markets, held Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 March, will be buzzing with live music and Easter fun. Expect an impressive line-up of stalls by local artisans.
