Weekday long lunches in Perth

There are some great lunch deals to be found in Perth throughout the work week if you know where to look.

With Hunter and Barrel’s weekday lunch menu at Raine Square you can enjoy three courses and get change from a $50 note. From their set menu of popular dishes, choose a main plus entree or dessert for $39, or all three for $46. They throw in a glass of house wine, beer or soft drink too.

Down at Brookfield place, Heritage Wine Bar’s work lunch includes individual main dishes plus snacks and sides to share for $65 per person. You can add on cheese, dessert, or even oysters or caviar if you’re feeling extra fancy. Naturally, you’ll need to wash it down with a wine from their extensive list (which includes more than 50 options available by the glass).

Over at the State Buildings, Wildflower’s Djilba FLOW lunch is a seasonal menu spotlighting Western Australian farmed and foraged produce with a choice of entree and main for $69 per person. We’re talking dishes like Wagin duck leg terrine with verjus, lemon myrtle and macadamia to start, and Linley Valley pork loin with golden beetroot and mustard seeds to continue. It’s unlikely you’ll be able to resist wrapping up the experience by adding on a dessert. Local strawberries with nasturtium, goat’s curd and pepperberry? Yes please.
