The original Aussie rebels of punk rock and everything in between Regurgitator are set to hit the stage at Rechabite Hall with a hotly anticipated concert. Renowned for their fusion of punk, pop, electronic and hip-hop the trio are promising to bring their usual bristling energetic live performance and rock out. Aussie favs, “Polyester Girl”, Kong Foo Sing” and “! (The Song Formerly Known As) are likely to make an appearance as well as their latest single “Cocaine Runaway”. It’s all a taste for what's to come with the imminent release of their new album “Invader”. Who knows we may even get to hear a couple of fresh cuts.

Howie Morgan is a well known Perth singer/guitarist who has played in many of the city’s live venues. He’s played at festivals, presented his own shows and supported musical legends like Stevie Wonder and Simply Red. This month at the Ellington he turns his attention to the soulful style of Bill Withers. Withers, the American singer-songwriter, captivated audiences with his smooth vocals and heartfelt lyrics. Morgan will pay homage to his legacy with a performance that will include hits like “Ain’t No Sunshine” and “Lean On Me”. With his band Morgan plans on faithfully recreating the spirit and sound of Wither’s songs. So, if you’re keen for a night of soul, folk and hip hop book you spot now before you miss out.
