  3. Sustainable City Adventures - Hop on a FREE CAT bus
This World Sustainable Transport Day (26 November), explore the City of Light the easy way - hop aboard the free CAT (Central Area Transit) buses and unleash your inner explorer! With five diverse routes to choose from, you’ll be zipping around the City in no time.

Red CAT: Game On!

Keen on cricket? Start your evening with a delicious stop at the Twilight Food Market in Forrest Place, where gourmet street eats and sweet treats await. Then, hop aboard the Red CAT and enjoy a scenic ride through East Perth - straight to the WACA for an unforgettable night of cricket action.

Green CAT: Garden Delights

Got a passion for plants? The Green CAT is your ticket to botanical bliss! Begin your adventure with a leisurely stroll through the enchanting Harold Boas Park, where nature's beauty awaits. Then, make your way to King’s Park and soak in WA’s most stunning gardens - perfect for a serene escape. And don’t forget your camera; the wildflowers here are breathtaking!

Blue CAT: Adrenaline Junkies

Ready for an adventure? Begin your day by setting sail on the Swan River from Barrack Street Jetty, where stunning views await. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins! Don’t forget to capture a photo at the iconic Bell Tower before hopping on the Blue CAT and head up to Northbridge for a delicious culinary journey through Chinatown - perfect for fuel before a night out!

Yellow CAT: Shop ‘til You Drop

Calling all shopaholics! Start your day at Watertown for unbeatable bargains that are easy on your wallet. After scoring some great finds, jump off before King Street and Raine Square to explore fabulous high-end boutiques. Once you’ve shopped ‘til you dropped, hop over to City Farm for a deliciously wholesome lunch. And if it’s Saturday, don’t miss the farmers market - your perfect stop for fresh goodies and artisanal treats.

Purple CAT: Insta-Adventure

Ready for some picture-perfect moments? This route is a must! Take a stroll along Matilda Bay, snap a selfie with the charming peacocks at UWA and wrap up your day with a cozy picnic while watching an outdoor movie under the beautiful trees at King’s Park.
