  3. Seven ideas for a fun night out in the city
Looking for a fun way to spend an evening in the city? Whether it’s for a date night, mates’ night, team-building activity, or celebration, here are a heap of cool things to do in Perth after dark.

Darts

Aim for a bullseye at Flight Club on Murray Street, where they’re seriously dedicated to fun and games. Perth was the first place in Australia to receive this UK social darts sensation, complete with its vintage British style. You can book a semi-private darts playing area called an ‘oche’ for up to 12 people and have food and drinks delivered to enjoy while you play.

Mini golf

You’re never too old for mini golf! Holey Moley in Northbridge is an ever-popular choice for after-work or weekend entertainment. Choose from 9, 18 or 27 holes and make your way through a series of quirky challenges with a drink in hand. Who’ll get a hole in one?

Bowling

Strike in Forrest Chase prides itself on being ‘not your average bowling alley’. The lights are low and the music’s pumping. Roll up, get your bowling shoes on and leave no pin standing!

Axe throwing

Now here’s something you may never have thought you’d experience - least of all in the centre of the city! At Lumber Punks in East Perth you can try your hand at axe throwing, with training provided by experienced instructors to introduce you to the technique.

Arcade games

B. Lucky & Sons in Forrest Chase and Palace Arcade in Northbridge are great destinations for old-school arcade games. Rediscover your inner child at these nostalgia-filled venues complete with bars and tempting food menus. Compete with your companions, or against yourself for a personal best.

Escape rooms

Take on the challenge of an escape room in Perth. The two Escape This locations in Northbridge and the CBD offer themed rooms ranging from pirates and wizards to bank heists and horror, catering for groups of 2 to 12 players. You’ll need teamwork, logic and code-cracking abilities to solve a series of puzzles before the clock runs out.

Karaoke

Perth City has an abundance of karaoke joints where you can sing your heart out. Hit Studio, Galaxy Lounge and Dragon Palace are some long-running venues in Northbridge with multilingual song selections in their private rooms catering for small to large groups.

So there’s a bunch of fun things to do in Perth that are sure to help you make memories!
