Live Through This: 30th Anniversary Tribute performed by Miss Violet
Amplifier Bar
Saturday, 8 June 2024
1994’s “Live Through This”, Hole’s landmark album turns 30 this year. Wait wasn’t the 90s only ten years ago?! The band, fronted by Courtney Love, staked its claim in the grunge scene with an album that was a raw, visceral exploration of pain and resilience, blending punk and grunge. It was a worldwide hit with songs like “Doll Parts”, “Miss World” and the anthem “Violet”. Perth’s Miss Violet will pay homage to this blistering album and other classic Hole hits. Keeping those 90s vibes going on the night will be support bands Mashing Potatoes and Gwen’s Kingdom.
