All-Abilities Sunset Service

Begin your reflections the evening before at the All-Abilities Sunset Service, a welcoming and inclusive ceremony held at the Flame of Remembrance in Kings Park and Botanic Garden. This event includes wheelchair access, assisted listening, and a low-sensory quiet area.


Dawn Service

Location: State War Memorial, Kings Park & Botanic Garden

Gather at first light for the iconic Dawn Service at the State War Memorial. This deeply moving service is one of Perth’s most significant commemorations, as the sun rises over the city skyline.


Gunfire Breakfast

Date: 25 April 2026
Time: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Location: Government House Gardens

Following the Dawn Service, head to the Government House Gardens for a traditional Gunfire Breakfast. A chance to come together and share stories in the spirit of mateship. Enjoy tea, coffee, and a breakfast roll in this beautiful garden setting.


The March

Location: St Georges Terrace

Line St Georges Terrace as veterans, current service members and their families take part in the ANZAC Day March. A powerful tribute to those who have served, drawing crowds from across the community.


Cathedral Service

Location: St Georges Cathedral, 38 St Georges Terrace

This service offers a moment of quiet contemplation in a historic setting. This is a ticketed free-entry event.


Anzac House

Location: Anzac House, 28 St Georges Terrace

Anzac House once again opens its doors to veterans and the wider community this ANZAC Day. Gather with mates, reflect on the day’s commemorations and connect with others. Whether you’re stopping in for a drink, a bite to eat or simply to share stories, it’s a place to honour the enduring spirit of camaraderie that defines ANZAC Day.


Mateship Lane

Date: 25 April 2026
Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Location: Irwin Street, Perth

Soak up a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that celebrates the ANZAC spirit of camaraderie. With a licensed bar, live entertainment, traditional Two-Up, comfortable seating and casual food options, it’s the perfect place to gather with mates, family and the wider community.


Getting around 

Due to road closures and limited parking, Transperth will be running additional bus and train services to help you travel to the State War Memorial in Kings Park and Botanic Garden.

Travel is free for all veterans and serving personnel wearing uniforms, campaign ribbons or medals on ANZAC Day.
