Saturday 4 November – Rottnest Island/Wadjemup
Duration: 5-8 hours
Departure: 9.30am Barrack Street Jetty, Elizabeth Quay, Perth
Take a ferry from Perth down the glittering Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River) and offshore to historic and cultural Wadjemup (Rottnest Island). Explore the stunning surrounds and uncover a history that has seen the Island used as an Aboriginal prison during colonial times and a military base during the Second World War, before becoming a beloved tourism haven for travellers from all around the world. Be sure to grab a selfie with the ‘happiest animal on earth’, the native Quokka.
