WECP Program - 1 to 3 November


We're thrilled to announce the release of our comprehensive program on the energy transition. This program delves into the latest trends, research, and innovations in the sector, spotlighting energy themes and opportunities pertinent to Western Australia, Perth, and our partner cities.

Pre and Post Events Tours

Tuesday 31 October – South-West region

Join the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia on a guided tour of an open pit lithium mine and an alumina refinery in the picturesque South-West region of Western Australia, just a couple of hours south of Perth.

Saturday 4 November – Rottnest Island/Wadjemup
5-8 hours
Departure: 9.30am Barrack Street Jetty, Elizabeth Quay, Perth

Take a ferry from Perth down the glittering Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River) and offshore to historic and cultural Wadjemup (Rottnest Island). Explore the stunning surrounds and uncover a history that has seen the Island used as an Aboriginal prison during colonial times and a military base during the Second World War, before becoming a beloved tourism haven for travellers from all around the world. Be sure to grab a selfie with the ‘happiest animal on earth’, the native Quokka.
