Australian Government (Speaker – Hon Madeleine King, Minister for Resources)
The Hon Madeleine King, Minister for Resources, led proceedings on Day 2 of the Conference program with an address outlining the pivotal role of Australia’s mining and resources sector in the global transition towards sustainability and climate resilience.

State Government (Speaker – Hon Bill Johnston, Minister for Mines and Petroleum, Energy, Hydrogen Industry)
The Hon Bill Johnston, Minister for Mines and Petroleum, Energy, Hydrogen Industry, opened proceedings on Day 1 with an address which spoke to the state of energy today, with a particular focus on the role Western Australia is playing in the world’s energy transition. The WA Government Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation also supported the development of the conference program.

Toyota (Transport)
To help transport delegates around the city, Toyota supplied two hydrogen-fuelled cars, further highlighting plans to build the first WA public hydrogen refueling station right here in Perth.
