Jumping the Shark by Fieldey
What do you get when you cross a mermaid cowgirl and a shark with a taste for Californian rolls? Vic Park’s iconic “Jumping the Shark” mural of course!
When creating the mural in 2015, artist Fieldey found inspiration from the phrase “jumping the shark” which first span its way into popular culture after an episode of ‘Happy Days’.
However the street art also plays homage to Fieldey’s background as an industry-leading surfboard painter and Vic Park’s diverse food scene along the Albany Highway café strip.
