Government House Ballroom
A classic ballroom full of the grandeur and luxury of yesteryear Government House Ballroom has hosted many a grand occasion in Perth.
The Ballroom, designed and built under the supervision of the Government Architect John M Grainger in 1899, is built in the Classic Revival style, somewhat different from the Gothic Revival style of Government House itself.
A Supper Room of the same dimensions as the Ballroom is located downstairs.
The Ballroom has hosted receptions, balls for visiting Royalty, and ceremonies by The Queen and Governors. It is still frequently used for official and social functions.
Visit the Government House website to find out about public events and concerts taking place in the Ballroom this year.
