Melanie Lemon is cautious in life, but limitless in imagination. On her 10,585th day on Earth, her brain thinks big - spy ops, cowboy standoffs, debates in the clouds. Inside her mind, danger collides with awkward romance, dreamlike montages and, yes, even dog poo. On stage, her wild thoughts erupt into a genre-bending rollercoaster of clowning, mime and physical theatre. Melanie hurtles from dazzling daydreams to catastrophic nightmares in a whimsical mash-up of comedy, romance and existential charm. Co-directed by multi-award-winning theatre makers Elise Wilson and Arielle Gray (The Last Great Hunt), it stars some of Boorloo’s most serious silly people: Tamara Creasey, Courtney Henri, Elise Wilson and Duncan Young. A show for anyone who’s ever been afraid to say yes.
