Swan River afternoon Jazz cruise
Returning for a second time this year to The Decoy is the best jazz quartet in Perth, the Swan River Ramblers. On Sunday the 7th April 2024 they will perform a wide variety of jazz classics, drawing repertoire from trad jazz, swing, blues, gypsy jazz, New Orleans style and more.
You can expect to hear music from greats such as Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Django Reinhardt, Sidney Bechet and George Gershwin as well as an eclectic mix of contemporary tunes. Led by bass-player Pete Jeavons, the SRR collective features a variety of talented Perth musicians, combining a wealth of performance experience, with instrumental virtuosity and a keen sense of spontaneity.
The Swan River Ramblers will feature Adam Hall (Trumpet / vocals), Ray Walker (Banjo), Lachie Glover (Tenor Sax) and Pete Jeavons (Double Bass).
