Birdiya Maya - Voice of the Elders

Gain insight into Aboriginal views on home and homelessness in talks and a display of short films and photographs, presented by Wungening Aboriginal Corporation.

The Birdiya Maya Homelessness Research Project was a partnership between Wungening and Curtin University’s National Drug Research Institute funded by Lotterywest.

Join Jackie Oakley and Louise Southalan from Wungening to learn more about the project at talks on Tues 16 April (5pm) and Sat 20 April (12pm – 12.30pm) at City Farm.

You can view a display of photographs and short films from the award wining program at City Farm from Tue 16 – Sat 20 April from 9am -3pm.
