Opened in 1936 by John and Maria Re, The Re Store was one of Perth's first continental food retailers.   

The Re Store's products, including freshly roasted brewed coffee, helped supply WA’s growing culturally diverse population, which was hungry for the foods they had enjoyed in their homelands.   

Still thriving in the same location on Lake Street and now part of an expanded food wholesaler, The Re Store has had a profound influence on the acceptance of multicultural cuisine and culture in WA.
