The list explores this years’ NAIDOC theme: Always Was, Always Will Be with a range of resources for readers of all ages.

Award-winning young adult novel Catching Teller Crow is a story told through the voices of two Aboriginal women; Elder wisdom can be found in children’s book Mad Magpie; and a DVD entitled In My Blood It Runs offers the perspective of a 10-year-old boy in Alice Springs.

Through the month of November, the free NAIDOC Library Challenge encourages people to learn more about the nations, language, stories and knowledge of Aboriginal Australians.

Join the Challenge as an individual/family, or a class/group, to read or watch a work by an Aboriginal artist then share a review to start a conversation.

Win badges along the way, track your reading, and complete the Challenge for a chance to win a hamper of the Library’s favourite works.
