  • Rio Tinto Christmas Lights Trail | 22 November - 1 January, across the City
    The Rio Tinto Christmas Lights Trail is back in town, lighting up the City and Northbridge for 41 nights with 20 amazing light installations. You can walk the full trail to see all 20 installations or take the family-friendly route, ‘The Merry Mile’. Enjoy festive entertainment and performances throughout the City on select nights, including weekly visits from Santa Claus in December. Special thanks to principle partner Rio Tinto and major supporter Lotterywest.
  • Christmas Markets at Brookfield Place | 19 - 21 November, 11am - 2pm
    Across three days discover the perfect Christmas gift for your loved ones from one of the many specialist artisan and makers stalls. Get something truly unique and knock off your Christmas gift list all in your lunch break!
  • Snowflakes in Yagan Square | 22 November - 1 January, 7:30pm - 8:30pm
    Enjoy a magical snowfall display near the Jewel Tree where you can immerse yourself in festive joy.
  • The Sleeping Beauty | 22 Nov - 15 December, His Majesty's Theatre
    Reawaken your inner child with this classic fairytale. The familiar story of the bewitched Princess Aurora, the fight between powerful fairies, and the adventurous Prince will fill you with joy in this stunning classical ballet. Live With West Australian Philharmonic Orchestra.
  • A Snowy Christmas In Northbridge | 23 Nov - 15 December, 4pm - 8pm, Perth Cultural Centre
    Santa’s up for some surf…and snow! Celebrate an Aussie Christmas at the Perth Cultural Centre with falling snow and festive lights for the whole family to enjoy.
  • Gnomeo, Gnomeo, Where For Art Thou Gnomeo? | 24 Nov - 3 January, Brookfield Place
    This festive season, Brookfield Place will be taken over by six larger than life gnomes, bringing a touch of whimsical magic to your holidays! Experience a gnome-tacular Christmas like no other and snap some gnome-tastic selfies, but be sure you look high and low to discover our gnomes as these jolly giants will be there sprinkling a little bit of magic and mischief around every corner! 
  • Twilight Food Market | Now to 28 March, every Friday from 4:30pm at Forrest Place
    The city’s biggest street food market is gearing up to return for another season. Held in the warmer seasons, the balmy atmosphere will put you in a good mood to enjoy good grub, festive entertainment and encourage you to explore our beautiful City at twilight.

  • Christmas Twilight Market | 29 November, 4pm - 9pm, Supreme Court Gardens
    With a focus on quality, handmade craft from locals, this dynamic market is the perfect opportunity to make an early dent in your Christmas shopping list.
  • Lotterywest Festive Lights | 30 November and 1 December, 5-9pm, Elizabeth Quay
    Over two packed nights, Elizabeth Quay comes alive as the month of Christmas begins! The highlight of the festivities is at 8pm, featuring a spectacular 500-piece drone show and fireworks from the Elizabeth Quay footbridge, whisking visitors away to a magical world.
  • Northbridge Treasure Trail | 1 December, 12pm - 4pm
    Join the Northbridge Treasure Trail for a fun shopping adventure along William Street. Follow our custom map, collect stamps at participating stores, and enjoy a free scoop of gelato. End your day with a free movie screening at the Northbridge Piazza.
  • Central Park Christmas Markets | 4 and 5 December, 11am - 2pm
    Celebrate the Christmas season at the Central Park Christmas Markets! Shop for unique gifts, artisan foods, fresh produce, and enjoy a variety of food stalls, live entertainment, plus special gift giveaways from Mrs. Claus herself!
  • Elizabeth Quay Fun Fair | 6 December - 18 January, 5pm until late
    Get ready for an unforgettable time as the Elizabeth Quay Fun Fair returns! With exhilarating carnival rides, mouthwatering food, and a vibrant festive atmosphere, the fun fair is sure to brighten your day. 
  • Santa Claus at Council House | 6 & 7, 13 - 24 December, 5pm until late
    Your chance to meet the man himself before he heads off on his journey round the world! Tell Santa what’s on your wish list and snap a photo to capture the magic of the holiday season.
  • Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant | 7 December, St Georges Terrace
    This years pageant will be the 53rd and it promises to be bigger and better than ever. The parade features more than 20 floats and 30 participants, marching bands, and performers, all decked out in their Christmas best.
  • Signing Santa and Friends | 7 & 21 December, 6pm - 9pm, Forrest Place
    Join Signing Santa and his helpers as they share Christmas stories with you in Auslan. Fun for all ages, suitable both for families who speak Auslan and those who are learning.
  • Brass on the Grass | 8 December, 4pm - 7pm, Victoria Gardens
    Enjoy this free community concert with all your Christmas favourites including the City of Perth Brass Band. The afternoon entertainment will continue with children's activities, face painting and a surprise visit from Santa.
  • Elle Enchanted's Family Fairytale Christmas Show | 14 December, 4pm, Perth Town Hall
    Join us for a magical family-friendly fairytale event at Perth Town Hall. Enjoy delicious popcorn and fairy floss while being serenaded by Perth's leading princess impersonator, and classical vocalist Elle Enchanted, accompanied by Dolce Ensembles and special guests.
  • Lotterywest Christmas Spectacular | 14 December, 2pm - 7pm, Perth Town Hall
    A free family Christmas celebration.  Join the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and a line-up of special guests for this annual Christmas celebration as they lead you through favourite festive sing-a-longs in this arena spectacular.  From cherished classics to modern hits, there’s something for the whole family!

  • Carols in the City | 21 December, 6:30pm - 9:30pm, Supreme Court Gardens
    This free family friendly celebration of Christmas will include pre-show entertainment, kids Santa-land, food vendors, a fireworks finale and more.
  • Christmas Nativity Concert | 22 & 23 December, 6pm - 8pm, Forrest Place
    A family tradition that has been a part of the fabric of Perth for over 25 years, this family concert is a show for everyone and a chance to sing along to Christmas favourites. Staged over two nights, the traditional story of Christmas is told live on stage in Forrest Place with Christmas carols and performances.
