  • Rio Tinto Christmas Lights Trail | 17 November to 2 January 2024, across the City!
    The Rio Tinto Christmas Lights Trail is back in town, lighting up the City and Northbridge for 47 nights with 22 amazing light installations. You can walk the full trail to see all 22 installations or take the new family-friendly route, ‘The Merry Mile’. Enjoy festive entertainment and performances throughout the City every Friday and Saturday night, including weekly visits from Santa Claus.

  • Twilight Food Market | Now to 5 April 2024, every Friday from 4pm at Forrest Place
    The city’s biggest street food market is gearing up to return for another season. Held in the warmer seasons, the balmy atmosphere will put you in a good mood to enjoy good grub, festive entertainment and encourage you to explore our beautiful City at twilight.

  • Christmas Nativity Concert | 16 & 17 December, 6:30pm - 8:30pm, Forrest Place
    The Christmas Nativity is returning to Forrest Place and will retell the much-loved traditional story of Christmas. Watch the biblical tale of Christmas being brought to life on stage with an array of local performers and choirs such as; One Big Voice – Studio Choir, Second Chance Choir, The Brownley Gospel Singers & African Gospel Singers. 

  • Elizabeth Quay Fun Fair | 1 December 2023 to 6 January 2024 | 5pm until late | Elizabeth Quay
    Perth City’s favourite summer Fun Fair is back for five action-packed weeks! Delight in the beauty of Elizabeth Quay whilst enjoying a huge lineup filled with the ultimate holiday cheer and entertainment.

  • Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant | Saturday 2 December
    The city will see a parade of floats dressed in lights and decorations, and over 2,500 performers making their way down St Georges Terrace.
  • Christmas Twilight Market | 17 November, 4pm - 9pm at Supreme Court Gardens
    Perth Makers Market is excited to be bringing our talented array of stallholders to the Supreme Court Gardens for a Christmas Twilight Market. With over 80 of the best WA Makers in attendance, delicious food, a pop up bar, live music, a visit from Santa and more there is something for everyone in the family!

  • Northbridge Treasure Trail | 10 December 2023, 1pm - 5pm
    Get all your Christmas shopping sorted at the wonderful array of Northbridge retailers. Pop in to the participating stores where there may just be a surprise waiting for you! 
  • WASO Christmas Spectacular | 9 December 2023, 2pm - 7pm
    Join the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and a line-up of special guests for this free Christmas celebration as they lead you through favourite Christmas sing-alongs!

  • Brass on the Grass | 10 December 2023, 3pm - 7pm
    Enjoy this free community concert with all your Christmas favorites, featuring the City of Perth Brass Band, Junkadelic, and Steve Hensby Band. Bring down a picnic blanket and grab dinner from a local restaurant or food vendor at the event. 
  • Carols in the City | 23 December 2023, 6:30pm - 9:30pm
    Head to Supreme Court Gardens for Carols in the City, a free family friendly celebration of Christmas. The event will include pre-show entertainment, kids Santa-land, food vendors, a fireworks finale and more.
