The City of Perth is hosting the World Energy Cities Partnership in 2026!

Having last hosted the event in 2023, we look forward to again welcoming WECP member cities, delegates and affiliated partners to Perth for the next WECP AGM and Conference. The event dates are expected to be finalised soon.

As the only Australian member city of the WECP, and strategically positioned as a renowned resources and energy transition hub in the
Indo-Pacific region, we are working with local industry and government partners to develop an engaging program that showcases our City’s credentials in energy, academia and innovation.

By joining us in Perth, you’ll also experience the very best of the City of Light and the unique state of Western Australia!

Ongoing since 1996, WECP member cities have met on an annual basis to discuss the latest challenges and opportunities associated with the energy sector, the green transition, and liveable cities.

WECP mayors and officers attend meetings during the AGM event to share expertise and explore collaboration opportunities between the cities, to drive the transition to a more sustainable energy future.
