Located in the Perth Cultural Centre the State Library is home to important heritage archives and a number of exhibition spaces.
If you want to explore your family’s history, delve into WA’s heritage, access books, newspapers and articles online or discover the State’s collections, the State Library has all the resources to help guide you.
Its vibrant discovery lounge is also a great place to meet and access free wifi, computers and other resources. And there’s always loads of fun activities for children on offer.
Situated in Northbridge between Francis Street and James Street, it is within walking distance of the main city shopping and business districts.
You can also hire rooms for seminars, conferences, presentations, training sessions and interviews at the State Library.
