Variety WA’s Toy Bank Lunch
Variety WA’s Toy Bank Lunch
One of Variety WA’s longest-running programs, the Toy Bank Luncheon, will return on Friday, 23 October 2026.
For more than 30 years, Variety WA’s Toy Bank has collected and distributed new toys to children arriving at refuges, crisis accommodation services and community organisations across Western Australia, often after leaving unsafe homes due to family and domestic violence or acute family crisis.
The 2026 Toy Bank Lunch will be held at The Kingsman on Riverside Drive, bringing guests together for an afternoon of fine dining, connection and practical impact.
Guests are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $20 or more. For those unable to bring a toy on the day, Variety WA has partnered with Toyworld Claremont to provide a donation option at checkout, allowing a toy to be purchased on their behalf and included in the Toy Bank collection.
Toy Bank now reaches more than 40 refuges and crisis services across Western Australia each year, including regional and remote communities.
Every toy collected through Toy Bank is new and unwrapped, ensuring each child receives something that feels as though it was chosen especially for them, not simply passed on.
The event will include a three-course meal, premium beverages, guest speakers, auction and raffle items, with support available on the day for guests who may be affected by sensitive discussions around family and domestic violence.
