2023 ST. ALi Italian Film Festival
The 2023 ST. ALi Italian Film Festival returns to Perth 28 September - 25 October. Presented by Palace in association with Luna Palace, the Festival takes place at Palace Raine Square in the City of Perth (as well as Luna Leederville, Luna on SX and Windsor Cinema).
Transporting audiences to Italy with a stunning selection of the best in contemporary Italian cinema, this year's Festival features encourages you to live la dolce vita with award winning dramas, comedies and documentaries perfectly timed for the start of Spring.
Festival highlights include
THE LAST NIGHT OF AMORE - a stylish crime thriller that was Italy's number 1 Box Office smash hit of '23;
BURNING HEARTS - a cinematic tale of love, death, cruelty and passion in a land of irresistible beauty shot entirely in black and white;
THE EIGHT MOUNTAINS - Winner of the Jury Prize at Cannes Film Festival '22, this is an epic journey of friendship and self discovery set in the breathtaking Italian Alps;
CARAVAGGIO'S SHADOW - an historical drama depicting the struggles of the notorious Renaissance painter as he's investigated by the Vatican; and
THE GENIUS OF GIANNI VERSACE ALIVE - a feature-length documentary exploring the life and work of the Italian fashion icon.
