Restore by STRUT Dance
STRUT Dance partners with PICA to present Restore, a dynamic double bill of new and recent dance works that highlight innovation and cross-regional collaboration.
In 2026, Restore will debut CALL, a new choreographic commission by Boorloo/Perth-based dance artist Ainslie Allan, alongside the West Australian premiere of Mickey by Naarm/Melbourne-based choreographer Brooke Stamp.
In its third iteration, Restore explores grief, restoration and the labour of dance. CALL, created by Allan in collaboration with Annika Moses and Jo Pollitt, is a repeated call for feeling to meet the destabilisation and rupture of our times. In Stamp’s award-winning Mickey, the hidden and subconscious impulses of a dancer is uncovered as the usually closed space of a rehearsal room is pried opened.
