Australian-born, NYC-based duo Olivia Chindamo and Matthew Sheens return to Australia to celebrate the release of their second album, Putting it Together – a captivating collection spanning originals, Australian compositions and reimagined forgotten gems.
With virtuosity, spontaneity and storytelling at the heart of every performance, the duo brings an adventurous approach to the piano and voice repertoire, moving effortlessly across styles and genres.
Both are groundbreaking artists in their own right. Chindamo made history as the first jazz voice graduate at The Juilliard School, earning her Masters in 2021. She has performed extensively across North America, Mexico, Europe and Australia and has recently toured with acclaimed conductor Alondra de la Parra.
Pianist Matthew Sheens is renowned for his expressive playing, versatility and deep musical connection with collaborators. Together, Chindamo and Sheens create performances defined by precision, passion, humour and tenderness.
