Get your engines ready for comics. Perth Comic Arts Festival is back this July!

Listen to panels and talks from comic artists, a packed market hall of independent creators, check out our book signings, and make comics in our family friendly workshops, all for free in the State Library of Western Australia! This year we are delighted to host award-winning Australian comic artists Stacy Gougoulis, Steven Christie, Georgina Chadderton and Rachel Ang. From across the globe we are also welcoming Ryan Estrada, Kim Hyun Sook, Kohinata Marco and Loïc Locatelli-Kournwsky to Perth.

On Saturday the 25th of July, PCAF will run Academy Day featuring professional development for comic book creators, readers, and enthusiasts. Local and visiting authors will present a diverse series of panels and lectures on their industry and craft.

On Sunday the 26th of July, Perth Comic Arts Festival’s famous Market Day will showcase a wealth of creative talent, featuring independent comic artists from WA and beyond. Free workshops will be running throughout the day including Cosplay Life Drawing, Comic-making workshops, and the return of Comic Crush.
