Moortabiny
Moortabiny
For three nights only this October, Kings Park will come alive with an all-new visual wonder: Moortabiny (Becoming Family) at the Pioneer Women's Memorial.
A powerful celebration of culture and connection, crafted by award-winning author Kim Scott, Moortabiny blends storytelling, an original soundscape inspired by the flora of Kings Park, and cutting-edge drone technology into a breathtaking spectacle beneath the stars.
This immersive experience shines a new light on the Western Australian Botanic Garden, celebrating its natural beauty and 60-year contribution to conservation.
Pack a picnic and gather with family and friends, explore sound stations capturing the stories of nature throughout the gardens, before looking up to the night sky as hundreds of drones create a never‑before‑seen aerial display.
Book now so you don’t miss this unforgettable finale to the 2026 Everlasting Kings Park Festival.
Part of the Everlasting Kings Park Festival. Proudly supported by Nine Perth.
