Come in from the cold, the Library Amnesty is back!

If you have overdue books or a small amount owing on your membership, we won’t judge.

Return those long overdue items and/or pay off a small amount owing with a donation for people experiencing homelessness.

Drop off new socks or personal care items, and we’ll accept your overdue items and/or clear your membership.

Bask in the warmth of library love and great winter reading ahead.

Terms and Conditions

1. Items must be overdue for long enough that an amount is owing on the membership.
2. Items must be returned to the Concierge Desk and a donation made to be considered part of the Amnesty.
3. Returned items must be in a suitable condition to be returned to the collection.
4. The amount owing must be less than or equal to $50, this is the maximum that will be forgiven.
5. Proof of address will be required to update the library membership.
6. Accepted donations are new socks or new, unopened personal care items (toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, body wash, moisturiser). No food.
