All That Country Holds presents significant contemporary works by ten Kimberley-based Aboriginal artists. Through contemporary expression—including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics and mixed media—the artists share perspectives on place, identity and the stories held within the Kimberley landscape.
Presented by Kimberley Aboriginal Art and Culture (KAAC)—representing the six leading art centres of the Kimberley (Warmun Art Centre, Warlayirti Artists, Waringarri Aboriginal Arts, Mowanjum Aboriginal Art and Cultural Centre, Mangkaja Arts Resource Agency and Kira Kiro Artists)—the exhibition reflects the cultural knowledge, lived experiences and enduring connections to Country that inform each artist’s work.
From shifting skies and creation stories to community life, the works reveal all that Country holds: knowledge passed down, resilience in the face of change and the enduring strength of the First Peoples of the Kimberley.
