What is Children’s University?
Children’s University celebrates and encourages learning beyond the classroom for children aged 7 – 14 years old. Through the ‘Passport to Learning’ program, children and families can explore community Learning Destinations and earn stamps in their passport. The Learning Destinations are recognised community locations such as public libraries, museums, zoos, parks, sports clubs, and universities. Students enrolled in the program are recognised for hours of learning through formal University certificates at on-campus graduation ceremonies - complete with official regalia!Students are invited to take part in the program, through partner schools. To learn more about the program and opportunities to be involved, head to Edith Cowan University (ECU) or the University of Western Australia (UWA).
The Children’s University WA Partnership is jointly delivered by Edith Cowan University, the University of Western Australia, and Children’s University Australasia.
