Catching Leukaemia Early: Changing the Paradigm

Leukaemia is a blood cancer where abnormal white blood cells grow uncontrollably in the bone marrow.

Over 50,000 Australians are at increased risk, and it’s often only detected after symptoms appear.

Associate Professor Hun Chuah and his team have developed a highly sensitive, WA-invented test that detects tiny genetic changes in blood cells. This breakthrough could enable much earlier diagnosis.

Join Associate Professor Chuah to learn how this innovation could transform leukaemia detection and improve outcomes for those at risk.

This event is run in partnership with the Royal Perth Hospital Research Foundation.
