That’s a wrap for the Lotterywest Boorloo Heritage Festival 2024

The month-long celebration of Perth’s history and heritage is over for another year.

Over 90,000 people were entertained, challenged and delighted by over 100 events delivered by a range of heritage and arts organisations and community groups across the city.

Throughout April, we shone a light on key aspects of Perth’s built, cultural and natural heritage through a range of events, from talks and walks to exhibitions, open houses, workshops and musical performances.

A highlight of this year’s Festival was the spectacular light and sound installation on His Majesty’s Theatre, one of Perth’s most iconic and beloved heritage buildings.

With attendance up three-fold this year, feedback from Festival attendees was overwhelmingly positive, a clear testament to the hard work and passion of our community partners and to the generous support of our major sponsor, Lotterywest.
