The Lotterywest Boorloo Heritage Festival returns in 2026 from 1 to 30 April 2026.

Get ready to celebrate the built, cultural and natural heritage of Boorloo (Perth), with over 100 different events across the city.

Expect to see fascinating talks and panel discussions, exhibitions, performances, engaging activations and enter unknown spaces through tours and open house days.

The full program will be released late March 2026. Keep an eye on this page for a sneak peak of some of the events you’ll see in this year’s festival.

    Perth has an abundance of green spaces, and all of them have their own character. Join us for some unusual encounters – live theatre on a history trail through the city’s most scenic spots, where you will meet characters from all walks of life waiting to share with you, their Park Yarns.

    The Royal West Australian Historical Society in collaboration with NM TAFE Fashion and Textile Design

    Memento: WA history reimagined through contemporary fashion

    An exhibition of garments inspired by historical artefacts from the collection at The Royal West Australian Historical Society. These artefacts are exhibited alongside garments made in response by North Metropolitan TAFE fashion design students.

    This collection reflects the changing patterns of Western Australian life, and the place mementos play in capturing memories.
