Bike paths
Perth has a comprehensive network of bike and dual-use paths. Many riverside routes are clearly signposted and detailed cycle maps can be obtained from most metropolitan bicycle retailers.
The City of Perth has developed the Bike Plan 2025-2035 to support the thousands of people choosing to ride at present and to encourage others to take up cycling.Bike Plan 2025-2035 vision
Bike riding is a healthy and eco-friendly means of transport. The City has been improving and extending bike infrastructure over a number of years, to provide a mix of sustainable transport options.
This new plan aligns with the City’s Sustainability Strategy and builds upon previous work. It provides a practical guide for planning, advocacy, and funding (including grants) to significantly boost cycling over the next 10 year.
