Uglieland 1923 - Circus WA

It's 1923, post war and the Ugly Men's Association is taking the city by storm with their fundraising carnival on the banks of the Swan River. All proceeds will go towards the war widows.

Come down to the river and join our outlandish, fabulous, death defying, fearless circus performers as they conjure you back to the ‘20's. Here you'll meet some of the real and imagined characters of 1923 and enjoy our very own silent film accompanied by the Perth City Band. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn the Charleston and Black Bottom Dances. At the end of the day kick up your heels and join us on the dance floor – you can even dance with your hats on!  

Come rewind the clock by a century and enjoy the delights and surprises of Uglieland in Victoria Gardens, Claisebrook, East Perth.
