Supreme Court of Western Australia: Open Day
This magnificent 1903 building has been home to the State’s highest court for more than 100 years.
It has been the site of some of the most significant trials in the State’s history, including the last death sentence imposed in 1963. The public are invited to explore the grand 117-year-old courthouse in Stirling Gardens, view heritage listed courtrooms and the Chief Justice’s chambers and inspect the cells below the building. Supreme Court judges will be available to answer questions throughout the day.
Take a self-guided tour and don’t miss this rare opportunity to see areas of the courthouse not usually open to the public.
This is a free event to attend, no tickets needed.
