St Georges Cathedral Self-Guided Tour - Easter Saturday
We invite you to come and visit St George’s Cathedral for a self-guided tour of the premises.
Established in 1888, St George’s Cathedral is beautiful Gothic Revival building. The Cathedral is a place for people to gather in worship and prayer – sometimes with spoken words, sometimes in silence, and sometimes enveloped in sacred music. Our doors are open to everyone of any faith or none.
Easter is a very busy time for the church, and when you visit there may be services taking place, people sitting in prayer and contemplation, or priests and staff going through arrangements for the Great Easter Vigil. This makes for an ideal environment for self-reflection as you make your way around the space, using our guide pamphlet as a reference.
This event is family friendly, and the venue will be open all day on the 8th of April 2023, from 7am to 6pm.
