Perth’s inner city has historically been a space where LGBTIQASB+ culture and community have thrived, but this has often been in secret or despite surrounding social restrictions. From clubs and venues to protests and parades, explore the spaces that queer Perth has built and claimed as its own.

Join a panel of community leaders who remember – and sometimes even helped to shape – the spaces that have offered everything from safety and inclusion to sites of resistance for Perth’s LGBTIQASB+ community.

Panellists for this session include Bobby Fletcher, Guy Gomez, Baz Sioux and Lisa Baker. The session will be hosted by broadcaster, educator and current Talks Producer at RTRFM, Danae Gibson.

This panel discussion is delivered in partnership with Pride WA as part of PRIDEFEST this November.
