After 10 years of negotiation, United Nations members have reached a historic agreement to protect the world’s oceans. The High Seas Treaty aims to help place 30% of the seas into protected areas by 2030, to safeguard and recuperate marine nature.
This World Oceans Day, join the panel of experts from UWA’s Oceans Institute to learn how the High Seas Treaty will help address threats and concerns across our world’s oceans, and celebrate this global movement.
