On Tuesdays at 11am the City of Perth hosts the Tuesday Morning Show, a free weekly community event aimed at seniors, with a program of musical entertainment, speakers and more.

Each week enjoy the camaraderie with a variety of entertainment compered by local entertainer Bernard Carney OAM.

Len Pooley was just 16 when he enlisted in WW1. He never spoke of his time on the front line or in POW camps until he was interviewed 70 years later. Len’s granddaughter Simone shares Len's inspiring story of survival and love through verbatim interview excerpts and jazz standards from the era.

Simone Craddock is a multi-award-winning Jazz Vocalist and storyteller. Based in London for many years, she performed leading roles in West End musicals and international tours. Returning home, she has become a Fringe World favourite for her self-penned shows. Simone has filled auditoriums at The State Theatre Centre of WA, His Majesty’s Theatre, Government House Ballroom, and performs often at The Ellington Jazz Club.
