Footy Friday at the Museum
Come together on the eve of this historic grand final for Friday Footy at the WA Museum Boola Bardip, where extraordinary sporting artefacts and memorabilia highlight stories of achievement from our local sporting heroes.
Open until 9pm, marvel at the sporting prowess of our WA Aboriginal players, including one of Australia’s defining moments the Winmar stand - when Nicky Winmar stood against racist taunts in 1993, precipitating the AFL code of conduct.
Join one of our special Great Sporting Moment Tours, make your very own laurel wreath in your team colours, and footage of some of grand finals on the screen at Epoch café. Enjoy Happy Hour between 5-6pm, with a special footy menu available (including a pie and beer combo!).
Don't forget to wear your favourite footy club guernsey!
