Bio-Tinkering Lights (ages 17-26)
Use renewable energy to create an LED fruit bowl to take home!
In this hands-on STEAM workshop, presented in the Scitech CSIRO Lab by Dr Claire Pannell and Robyn Shrosbree, participants will explore how electrical energy is stored in food and drinks. Learn how to harness this energy to light up the world with a slow healing glow. Using food we will use renewable energy from within to run LED lights and create a glowing fruit bowl sculpture to feature on your dining table.
