A Manifesto To Softness
A Manifesto To Softness celebrates and captures the moments when we feel most ‘soft’.
Using the intimate mediums of portrait photography and poetry, this exhibition explores how we experience softness through sensations, in particular places, towards others and within ourselves. Audio of selected participants’ discussions with the artist - recorded prior to being photographed - encourages viewers to reflect on what the concept of softness means to them, and provides an insight into the artists’ creative theory. The City Arts Space is open from 10.00am until 4.00pm, seven days a week.
