The excitement about the first manned moon landing by Apollo 11 still resonates today. The touch down of the Eagle 50 years ago was a defining moment of the last century. Join UWA astrophysicist and microgravity specialist Danail Obreschkow to commemorate this milestone and celebrate its game changing impact on science, industry, politics and human culture.
About Danail Obreschkow
Dr Danail Obreschkow is a is an astrophysicist and microgravity specialist, active at the University of Western Australia node of the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research. Danail has a passion for many fields in modern astrophysics and cosmology. His core areas of research include galaxy evolution, star formation, as well as the large-scale structure of the universe.
