
Commonwealth Games 2026 Live on Screen
Catch all the action at the 2026 Commonwealth Games live and loud on the Northbridge Piazza superscreen! The Games will be screened 5-10pm daily, with free Basketball WA and Judo WA activations on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 August from 4 to 6pm.

Judith Forrest - Out of the Ordinary Exhibition
Out of the Ordinary marks the culmination of 50 years of Judith’s art practice. It focuses on the everyday actions that carry deep meaning. Through sketching, she has documented the interactions between people: how they sit, wait, talk, and engage with one another, as well as their relationships with animals, including pets, and the ways they socialise together.

From humble beginnings as a small but plucky guide to Perth’s nightlife, the magazine became a highly influential bible for all things music, art, fashion, food and drink in Perth. Curated by former X-Press editor Bob Gordon, this free exhibition at the State Library of WA reflects on the magazine’s cultural impact and legacy.
