But now that we’re all doing our bit and staying home, some of Vincent’s finest restaurants and watering holes have had to change the way they do business and start focusing on takeaway.
Meals on the couch are the new long table dinners and the Open for Business in Vincent directory has the full list takeaway offerings.
Now, more than ever, we need to support local.
The Cabin Small Bar
The team behind The Cabin have taken their delicious share plates out of their intimate setting and they’re bringing them to your cosy lounge room. Put away those BBQ Shapes and the French onion dip and instead enjoy baked chicken wings or arancini made by the experts. They’ve got couples or family packs that take the stress out of ordering and they’re also taking orders for wine, beer and cider.
Must Winebar
Feeling hungry but not in the mood to cook? Why settle on a toasted sandwich when you could have crispy pork belly, chicken liver parfait or confit wagin duck leg from Beaufort Street favourite Must Winebar. Their full a la carte menu is now available for pick up or delivery and they’ve also got a dish of the day if you’re after comfort food meals for two. If that’s not enough to convince you to pick up the phone, they’re got stellar wines on offer at bottle shop prices.Kitsch
This Leederville gem is offering its hot, sweet and spicy dishes in delivery form, with the option of takeaway wine and beer to accompany the meal. Or if you really want to take your takeaway game to the next level, go with the $150 banquet for four that includes six of Kitsch’s finest dishes plus a bottle of white or red. They’ve introduced online ordering to make things as simple as possible, so you don’t even have to speak to another person to get your fix of Asian street food.Brika
Gusto Gelato
It would be a crime to go months without the incredible gelato from Gusto, but thankfully they are still offering pick up as well as free local home delivery. To sweeten the deal even further, they’re looking after our heroic healthcare workers. You can donate a tub of gelato to frontline staff in hospitals and clinics, which will be delivered by the friendly team from Gusto.- 29 Apr '20
