DFES Education and Heritage Centre
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) Education and Heritage Centre invites visitors to explore the important history of emergency services in the State.
The centre is full of interactive exhibitions and displays and is housed in the original Perth fire station which is now heritage listed.
There is dress-up fun for children, heritage displays and a real modern fire engine to explore at the centre.
DFES invites you to reflect on the unique history and heritage of the building and learn about WA’s natural hazards and the teams and Government Departments that keep us safe in the process.
There are a range of historic documents, photographs and vintage fire engines
