Scarborough Beach’s exciting developments have created a hub of activity for the whole family.

A beautiful white sandy beach, Scarborough is busy and very popular with surfers (including kite and windsurfers) and swimmers alike. A soft grass area stretches along the entire foreshore and is very popular for picnics. On offer are public BBQs, picnic tables and plenty of shade.

All amenities like toilets, indoor and outdoor showers and change rooms have recently been upgraded. For something different you can swim in the new beachfront Scarborough beach pool for only $7.30 (adult entry).

There Is a massive selection of dine-In and takeaway options within the new Scarborough beach precinct and surrounds, with options to suit all tastes and budgets. In summer and spring the Scarborough amphitheatre comes to life with live music and weekly sunset markets offering some the best food and shopping which makes for an amazing evening by the ocean with friends.

At the centre of the beach access a new skate park and bowl, a free rock climbing wall and a seriously big dinosaur themed playground. There is exercise equipment available and even free WiFi to the main central beach and foreshore areas.
