Workshop - Ringing Bells at the Bell Tower

Workshop - Ringing Bells at the Bell Tower

The Bell Tower is a Perth tourist icon – but have you ever wondered what really goes on there? How do the ringers make music? How do they control the bells? What is change ringing anyway? This is your chance to find out!

The Bell Tower Ringers are offering an introductory bell ringing workshop – come and find out what it’s really all about and try your hand at ringing a bell. It won’t be what you expect!

The bells at the Bell Tower are one of the world’s biggest musical instruments – and one of only three rings of sixteen bells in the world. The Bell Tower is also the only tower in the world where visitors are able to see the bells and bellringers in action.

Places are limited and booking is essential. Please note that bell ringing is a physical activity that requires listening skills, excellent coordination and concentration, the ability to stand unassisted and an average level of fitness.

Event Details: Suitable for Youth 13+ and Adults, Tickets $20 - Bookings Required (via The Bell Tower Ringers website), Wheelchair Accessible
