Wheel Throwing Beginners and Intermediate

Learn how to use a pottery wheel for the first time with local ceramicist Greg Crowe in this eight-week workshop open to beginners and Intermediate students. Over the course you will learn how to trim, add handles, glaze and add other decorative elements to your creations.

This course includes a bisque and glaze firing with work ready for collection approximately 4 weeks after your final class. [Please note this 8-week course will run over 9 weeks, with a class break on the 14th of September. This is required to allow enough time for drying of works before trimming.]

What to Bring: Working apron, closed toed shoes and enthusiasm!

What is included: each student receives a 1/2 bag of clay with access to clay hand tools | Additional stoneware clay available to purchase or BYO
