Weekends at PICA – Artist Talks

Join us for Weekends at PICA, a family-friendly morning filled with coffee, pastries, activities and conversation with Season One Bunuru artists Robert Andrew and Elizabeth Willing.

A descendant of the Yawuru people of the Broome region of the Kimberley, Robert Andrew will discuss his kinetic exhibition Held within a word, with highly regarded Noongar painter, weaver and sculptor Sharyn Egan.

Hear from Elizabeth Willing, the inaugural recipient of the Judy Wheeler Commission, and local artist Elizabeth Pedler as they discuss Willing’s new site-specific installation Roost, a sensory ode to food, hospitality and the architecture of PICA.

Artist talks will be Auslan interpreted.
